Lutein is een antioxidant carotenoïde die in de natuur voorkomt met zeaxanthine, een nauw verwante carotenoïde. Luteïne en zeaxanthine concentreren zich in de macula en lens van het oog, evenals in de hersenen, huid, borst en baarmoederhalsweefsels. Luteïne en zeaxanthine zijn te vinden in donkergroene, bladgroenten.

Jarrow Formulas Luteïne wordt gewonnen uit goudsbloembloemblaadjes. Elke softgel bevat 20 mg luteïne (netto opbrengst) van luteïneesters, die van nature voorkomen, stabieler en goed geabsorbeerd.

Recommended dosage

Take 1 softgel per day with food or as directed by your qualified healthcare professional.
